The panel of judgment for the national QM awards in an effort to enhance the competitiveness of Korean Industries, and ultimately contribute to public welfare and national development.

National Quality Management Award
KSA awards companies that have accomplished considerable performances in quality improvement, cost-cutting and productivity improvement through company wide quality management activities. In November of every year, ¡®the month of quality¡¯, KSA recognizes these companies through the Presidential Awards, making this the largest quality management awards event in the country.

To help companies advances by streng thening their global competitive edge, KSA offers opportunities to benchmark corporate management innovation and improvement activities by inviting experts from Korea and abroad. Various best practices in innovation and theme lectures are provided for corporate information interchanges in an effort to help improve corporate innovation-driven activities.



National quality circles competitions
In a bid to encourage quality circle activities for enhance corporate quality management and quality competitiveness, this festival for quality circle members is offered, where the presidential Award is granted to excellent quality circles nationwide.




KSA holds a variety of events such as research activities and conferences that help Korean companies raise their standard and quality competitiveness. Standard Day

October 14wsadesignated as the ¡°World Standard Day¡± by the International Standardization Agency of ISO, IEC and ITU. In commemoration of professionals initiatives in standardization activities, a commemora tive event is held every year on that day all over the world. Since 2004, Korea has held an event for ¡°Standard Day¡± to raise public awareness on the usefulness of standardization, disseminate the best practices, and award and encourage companies, groups and men of merit who have greatly contributed to the enhancement of Korea¡¯s competitiveness based on technology innovation and improvement of produc tivity resulting from the active implementation of stan dardization.



KS-SQI
The KS Service Quality Index represents comprehen sive customer evaluation and satisfaction for the qualities of overall service industries. The index takes into consideration domestic service industries and customer features. It is researched and announced yearly.
